Two years in the making, the project has seen the creation of one of the largest logistics and manufacturing developments that the North East has seen in a generation, built on a strategic 205-acre site immediately adjacent to J61 of the A1 motorway. The delivery has now included a number of large industrial and warehouse units from 50,000 square feet upwards.

Integra61 Durham has not only created a vast industrial space, but has also brought forward provision for 270 new homes, a care home, a doctor’s surgery, a nursery, a pub, a hotel and a number of restaurants and retail outlets, with works for the care home having now commenced.

The development has become the region’s premier logistics and industrial hub, creating an anticipated 4,000 jobs and adding over £2 billion to the local economy over a 10 year period, with a further phase II to come having now purchased an additional 200 acres to expand the scheme.
