Citrus Healthcare has been established to invest in medical and healthcare assets and to develop sites for the healthcare market throughout the UK.
We work with major healthcare operators to develop modern care homes with a full range of facilities. Currently, we have several developments at various stages in the planning and construction process.
Site Requirements:
- Care Home
Sites circa 1 acre
Predominately urbanised areas within a close range of amenities
We will consider existing buildings or sites with C2 planning consent that have the potential for re-development and meet the above criteria.
Sites with existing planning consent will also be considered for the development of new care homes (a minimum requirement of 50 beds)

Dependent on local demand/requirements

General Site Requirement
Anywhere in the UK.
Urban locations preferred but fringe sites will be considered.
Either stand-alone sites (minimum 0.8 acres) or large sites with the potential to be developed into a mixed-use scheme -
Leasing Structure and Sale and Leaseback
a. Citrus will enter into agreements with existing care home operators to fund and develop sites to be leased by the operator.b. Citrus will enter into sale and leaseback agreements on homes currently owned by operators who may wish to release funds.
